No. DataBlur AI runs 100% locally in your browser — your prompts and page content never leave the device. The only thing it sends is anonymous usage counts, which you can switch off.

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Mistral, Grok, Poe, Perplexity and DeepSeek. Those are the only sites the extension can read — it asks your browser for access to them and nothing else.

Only if you want it to. In Warn mode it pauses on send so you can decide; Auto-redact cleans the prompt for you; Highlight-only never blocks.

Detection is pattern-based and tunable from strict to lenient. It is a strong safety net, not a guarantee — you always see and control what gets redacted.
